Annual Funding Notices provide a summary of federal rules governing the termination of single-employer defined benefit pension plans and of benefit payments guaranteed by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), a federal agency. Annual Funding Notices include important funding information about your pension plan. Federal Regulations require plan administrators of defined benefit pension plans to report certain financial information about their pension plans to all plan participants on an annual basis.
