See Your Coverage Options and Costs Two Weeks Before Annual Open Enrollment

New Feature on the Your Benefits Resources™ (YBR) Web Site. Now you will not have to wait until the annual open enrollment period to see your personalized health and welfare benefits coverage options and costs. Beginning Monday, October 10, 2011 through Friday, October 21, 2011, you will be able to preview your 2012 options and costs on the YBR Web site.

Please note: While you will be able to preview your coverage options and costs, you will not be able to enroll or make changes to your coverage until the annual open enrollment period begins on October 24, 2011.

The Annual Open Enrollment Period

The annual open enrollment period for your 2012 Alcatel-Lucent health and welfare benefits coverage starts Monday, October 24, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Time (ET), and ends Friday, November 4, 2011, at 5:00 p.m., ET. Late enrollments, or enrollments before the annual open enrollment period begins, will not be accepted.

In mid-October: Look for an email at your work address from “Alcatel-Lucent U.S. Benefits” with the subject line: “2012 U.S. Benefits: The Annual Open Enrollment Period Starts October 24, 2011.” Be sure to open and read it — it contains important information about your 2012 benefits and the annual open enrollment period.
