For individuals with the right to receive benefits under the Nokia Retirement Plan (the “Plan”), the calculation of a lump-sum payment uses assumptions about interest rates and how long you and your named beneficiary, if any, are expected to live. The interest rates used are specified under Section 417(e) of the Internal Revenue Code and the terms of the Plan.
