Certain retirees, spouses and eligible dependents who are enrolled in the Retiree Medical Plan may be eligible to receive reimbursement from the company for their Medicare Part B premiums. These reimbursements are determined based on the date of your retirement.
Reimbursements are automatically calculated when you or your covered spouse reaches age 65. If you or your covered spouse becomes eligible for Medicare prior to age 65, please notify the Nokia Benefits Resource Center to begin reimbursement. Unless you are a surviving spouse, reimbursement is provided quarterly in April, July, October and January for the previous three months. For example, the April check includes reimbursement for January, February and March. Surviving spouses receive reimbursement for the first six months of Family Security Program (FSP) coverage only.
